Grayson's FIRST birthday cake!

Although we had Grayson's birthday party on his "real" birthday, I wanted Mimi and Papaw to be able to watch Grayson in person as he dug into his first birthday cake! As you can see, he loved it! Happy First Birthday Grayson Bishop! We love you very much!

Conversation-

Carter,"Hey Mom, when you are sick, you must wipe your nose with a tennis shoe."
Mom,"What?"
I thought for a second, "Oh, Carter, you mean a tissue!"

Grayson's First Birthday!

Carter, Grayson, and I have been home all this week due to snow and hazardous road conditions. Therefore, we were able to be home with Grayson on his special day! He has had a great day! Roy and I decided to take the boys to Chucky Cheese to celebrate Grayson's FIRST birthday. It was 9 degrees, but we bundled up and of course were not the only family there! Grayson did not enjoy the rides and Carter is still very frightened by Chucky, the mascot. Needless to say, we were only there about an hour or so.
Grayson received a special singing phone call from Mimi and Papaw. Aunt Gail and Uncle Dick sent Grayson his FIRST birthday card, and Roy, Carter, and I gave him the new Little Tykes Cozy Coupe car. It is still being assembled, but I will post pics tomorrow!
Grayson weighs 24 pounds, is walking really well, can say, "Mama" and "hey", and is learning to drink from a sippy cup. As you can see from the pictures Grayson still likes his pacifiers! He is eating cheetos, vanilla wafers, and "trying" other solid foods. He sleeps through the night, but loves to sleep with his mommy some too! Grayson loves his big brother. He lights up every time Carter comes into the room! They are beginning to really play with each other now. Grayson is learning to stand up for himself too! Grayson loves it when Roy flies him through the air or plays chase with Carter. He is a happy little guy!
I feel so blessed to have my precious boys- I treasure every moment we have together and can't wait to see what 2010 holds for our family!

SNOW!

We had so much fun playing in the snow! The boys were sick for the first snow and I was afraid to take them out. It took us 30 minutes to prepare for outside, but the boys loved it! We had about 3 inches of snow. Roy made snow ice cream! Bishop Family loves the snow!
