As you can tell we have been very busy! Thanksgiving is always filled with family, fun, and Carter's Birthday! Mimi, Papaw, Aunt Chelle, Ms.Ruth and Mr. Lee came to celebrate Carter's 5th birthday with us! Aunt Gail and Uncle Dick sent Carter an ornament, watch, and Batman pajamas! They also sent the boys the "Elf on the Shelf" book and Elf. Carter named the Elf, Jacob. He watches how the boys behave and reports back to Santa each night. This is the book we are reading in the pictures. What a fabulous idea! Carter got everything he asked for including the infamous Optimus Prime Transformer that he called and asked Mimi for! Aunt Chelle was a hero too because she found the "claw feet slippers" that Carter just had to have! Bumblebee was given to him by Mom, Dad and Grayson. After Carter's party, we went to the square in Fayetteville to look at the lights. On Carter's "real" birthday, we went to Jumpzone and Chucky Cheese. I don't know what we were thinking! Carter still does not like Chucky and hid under the table when he came out! Needless to say, we will NEVER darken those doors again! All in all, Carter had a great birthday! Thanks to everyone who made it special!
Spent the weekend in El Dorado with Mimi and Papaw! Grayson thought the best seat in the house was on top of the table! Carter decided to wear the Halloween costume that we found on clearance! AND the four wheeler was given a good ride! Good times with Family= PRICELESS!
Our first "official" Fall Break as a family was this past week! Roy took vacation from work and we loaded the van and headed to one of our favorite spots on Earth.......... Silver Dollar City! The weather was beautiful, no crowds, the boys could ride and ride and ride without having to wait, and Grayson did fabulous! We arrived at 10am and left at 4pm. We all slept well after that day! We spent 3 nights and had a blast riding go carts, swimming in the indoor waterpark, and playing arcade games to win tickets. The boys have a sword that lights up and a ball each. I think we will be winning tickets for the rest of our lives! All in all, it was a great time!
