Batman!

Yep! Batman is now Carter's favorite character- Not sure why- He has never seen a cartoon or show of him! Aunt Chelle got him a Batman car that goes really fast and since then, he LOVES him! I found the bedding at Walmart and couldn't resist!

Merry Christmas! We are so blessed to have our family, friends, health, employment, church home, and the list goes on and on! Have a safe holiday season!

Carter's 4th Family Birthday!

Carter had the best party! We had a Spiderman cake and he loved all of his gifts! Mimi and Papaw got him Spiderman hat and gloves, Spiderman shirt, Spiderman briefs (Do you get the theme this year?) Plus, Carter now has his own Piggy Bank! AND it talks! Aunt Chelle got him the cutest singing donkey-Carter dances with it while it sings! Roy, Grayson and I got him a Spiderman watch, Spiderman Memory Game, and books. Mimi and Papaw also gave him books. Ms. Ruth and Mr. Lee gave him the cutest airplane and air boat-(both have been flying around this morning). After the party we all went downtown in Fayetteville to look at the lights. I will post those pictures next. Michelle and Dad rode the camel- Dad says it is an experience that everyone should have! Carter, Mimi, and Papaw rode the carriage around the Square. Carter said, "That was awesome!" Carter also rode the ponies, but was not really thrilled with the ride. He held on to Roy with a death grip! All in all, our family weekend was perfect! We are so blessed in every sense of the word!

Thankful

Pictures coming soon, but I had to tell everyone about our Thanksgiving Dinner last night. Mom, Dad, Michelle, Ruth, Lee, Carter, Grayson, Roy and I all sat down to say what we were thankful for. Carter went first. I figured he would say that he is thankful for Spiderman, Curious George, or tv, BUT he surprised me and said, "I am thankful for my Mimi and Papaw!" What a sweet, sweet boy!

Trunk Or Treat!

This was our first Trunk or Treat event. It was a very safe way to Trick or Treat. Carter received a pumpkin full of candy! He played games, jumped in the blow-ups, and ate marshmallows! Grayson played with the balloons. He was very busy watching everyone around him! Luckily, Roy was able to join us after being called to work. We had a Great Family Night!

Halloween!

The children have their pictures taken each month at Bedford's in Fayetteville by Ms. Tina. She has given me permission to post them on this blog. Carter wanted to be a FRIENDLY ghost, but I couldn't find Casper anywhere! Grayson is our Friendly Fireman! Hope everyone had a Ghostly Halloween!

A beautiful Sunday afternoon- the sun was finally shining and the leaves are changing! We had a great time together!

9 months!

Grayson has had a busy week! Two teeth arrived on Saturday. We went to Silver Dollar City and while I was feeding him his Frozen Lemonade, I noticed the two bottom teeth! He has gotten really good at crawling. He follows Carter everywhere! Now, he has a new trick- Grayson is pulling up on the couch, Roy's chair, and other things so he can stand up! It won't be long now before he takes his first steps- Time is flying by and my boys are growing up! Thank you Lord, for my healthy boys.

On the MOVE!

Grayson is officially ON THE MOVE! He follows us everywhere! He can now get into Carter's toys and it is causing some "issues!" Grayson weighs 21.3 pounds and does NOT have a tooth yet! We are hoping everyday that his teeth make an appearance- He is in a great deal of pain. His gums are swollen and he is gnawing on everything he can reach! Grayson is also trying to pull up. Time is flying by! We sure love our Bishop Boys!

New Technology

Who knew that legos could take temperatures and fix teeth problems! I may have a doctor of some kind on my hands! Roy was a great sport throughout the entire check-up!

Pumpkins and Frozen Lemonade

Grayson's new favorite treat is Frozen Lemonade! He LOVED it!

Silver Dollar City!

Carter had a great time at Silver Dollar City! He is tall enough for many of the "bigger" rides and wants to ride them all! He loved the roller coaster! He was able to ride Thunderation with Roy, but I couldn't get close enough for a picture. He loved the swings and going high in the sky! Season passes are the greatest! We stay about 4 hours and then come home to rest. Grayson loves watching all of the people!
