Christmas 2010

Carter received his FIRST Nerf gun from Mimi and Papaw this year.  As you can see, he loves it (not a bad shot either!)

Of course, they couldn't leave Grayson out, so Gray also received his first gun too!  It makes shooting noises and lights up!  He loves it!  Roy and I have been under attack for several nights now!

Carter got his first digital camera this year too!  Couldn't post without a picture of him with it!  Having our family here was really great!  Aunt Chelle even spent the night with us on Christmas Eve so we could all wake up together!

These faces sum up our holiday for me!  I love these boys!

Gingerbread House Decorating! New tradition

Our first attempt at decorating a gingerbread house!  Luckily, I purchased a kit that already had the house put together and all that the boys had to do was add the candy.  They had a great time eating and decorating the house!  Carter wants to eat it already!  It wasn't stressful or messy (except for the candy that missed their mouths and fell to the floor!)

Thanksgiving, Carter's 5th Birthday and More!

As you can tell we have been very busy!  Thanksgiving is always filled with family, fun, and Carter's Birthday!  Mimi, Papaw, Aunt Chelle, Ms.Ruth and Mr. Lee came to celebrate Carter's 5th birthday with us!  Aunt Gail and Uncle Dick sent Carter an ornament, watch, and Batman pajamas! They also sent the boys the "Elf on the Shelf" book and Elf.  Carter named the Elf, Jacob.  He watches how the boys behave and reports back to Santa each night.  This is the book we are reading in the pictures.  What a fabulous idea!   Carter got everything he asked for including the infamous Optimus Prime Transformer that he called and asked Mimi for!  Aunt Chelle was a hero too because she found the "claw feet slippers" that Carter just had to have! Bumblebee was given to him by Mom, Dad and Grayson.  After Carter's party, we went to the square in Fayetteville to look at the lights.  On Carter's "real" birthday, we went to Jumpzone and Chucky Cheese.  I don't know what we were thinking!  Carter still does not like Chucky and hid under the table when he came out!  Needless to say, we will NEVER darken those doors again!  All in all, Carter had a great birthday!  Thanks to everyone who made it special!
